Interior Painting in Middle Tennessee

Walls, ceilings, trim and doors painted clean and even — rooms prepped, edges cut sharp, furniture covered — in Nashville and all around it.

A lot of the homes Rosa paints on the interior fall into one of two categories: older brick-and-frame houses in and around Nashville and Franklin with wood trim, plaster patches and years of nail holes and scuffed corners, or newer construction in Murfreesboro, Smyrna and Hendersonville where the walls went up with a thin builder-grade coat that shows every mark within a year or two. Either way the work starts the same: patching and sanding the wall before a brush ever touches it, covering floors and furniture so a family living in the house doesn't come home to paint on the carpet, and cutting in clean, straight lines where wall meets trim and ceiling instead of leaving a wavy edge behind tape.

Génesis Painting & Cleaning works room by room in occupied homes, timing the job and choosing low-odor paint so a family isn't pushed out of the house while it dries. Send Rosa a WhatsApp photo of the room and she'll tell you what it needs — a no-obligation quote, in Spanish, with English-speaking customers welcome to write in and get a reply by text.

What's included

Every interior job starts with the walls themselves — nail holes and dents get patched and sanded smooth, bare or repaired spots get primed so they don't show through the topcoat, and any stains get sealed before color goes on. Trim, doors and cabinets are cut in by hand where they meet the wall, furniture and flooring are covered before the first can opens, and Rosa schedules the rooms so the part of the house a family still needs to use stays livable while the rest gets painted.

How we work

Send a photo

Send Rosa a WhatsApp photo of the rooms and tell her what needs to change — color, trim, ceilings, touch-ups.

No-obligation quote

You get a no-obligation quote for the rooms and the prep work they need.

Prep and paint

Walls are patched and sanded, floors and furniture are covered, then trim is cut in and the rooms get painted.

Walk through together

Rosa walks the finished rooms with you before calling the job done.

Interior Painting by city

A repainted living room in Nashville, a stained deck in Franklin, a school hallway waxed in Murfreesboro and an office cleaned in Hendersonville each need a different plan — and we handle all four.

Common questions

Do I need to move all the furniture out of the room myself?
No — furniture stays in the room and gets covered and moved to the center before painting starts. Anything that needs to leave the house entirely is something to point out ahead of time.
Can you paint while my family is still living in the house?
Yes — that's most of the work. Rooms get scheduled so you keep using the parts of the house you need, and low-odor paint keeps it livable while it dries.
Will the paint smell take over the house?
Rosa uses low-odor paint and times the work room by room so the smell doesn't sit in the house the way an old-style paint job would.
What if my walls have a lot of cracks and old nail holes?
That's normal in older homes and it gets handled before color goes on — patched, sanded smooth, and primed so the repairs don't show through the topcoat.
