Exterior Painting in Middle Tennessee

Siding, trim, doors and porches washed, primed and painted to hold up to Tennessee sun, rain and humidity — in Nashville and all around it.

Middle Tennessee's exterior paint doesn't fail the same way twice — a humid summer and a wet winter fade a sun-facing wall while a shaded one grows mildew, and around Hendersonville the humidity off the lake makes both happen faster. Rosa sees it on older brick-and-frame homes in Nashville and Franklin, where the wood trim and porch columns take the worst of it, and on newer board-and-batten siding in Murfreesboro and Smyrna, where the builder-grade paint job was never meant to last more than a few years.

Every exterior job starts with the surface, not the color — the siding and trim get washed and scraped clean, bare wood gets primed before it ever sees a topcoat, and gaps get caulked so water can't get behind the paint. Send Rosa a WhatsApp photo of the house and she'll tell you what it needs — a no-obligation quote, in Spanish, with English-speaking customers welcome to write in and get a reply by text.

What's included

Prep decides how long an exterior paint job actually lasts, so it gets the same attention as the paint itself: loose and peeling paint is scraped back to a sound edge, mildew and dirt are washed off before anything else happens, bare wood on trim, fascia and porch columns is primed so it doesn't pull moisture from the first coat, and gaps around windows, doors and trim boards are caulked to keep water out. Rosa works around the weather rather than against it, timing coats for stretches of dry days so the paint cures the way it's supposed to instead of trapping moisture underneath.

How we work

See the house

Rosa looks at the siding, trim and porch and talks through what the surface needs before quoting.

No-obligation quote

You get a no-obligation quote for the house and the prep it needs.

Wash, prime and seal gaps

The surface is washed and scraped, bare wood is primed, and gaps are sealed before any color goes on.

Paint and walk through

Coats go on within a stretch of dry weather, and Rosa walks the finished house with you.

Exterior Painting by city

A repainted living room in Nashville, a stained deck in Franklin, a school hallway waxed in Murfreesboro and an office cleaned in Hendersonville each need a different plan — and we handle all four.

Common questions

Do you paint over old, peeling paint?
No — loose and peeling paint gets scraped back to a sound edge first. Painting over it just means it peels again, faster.
What happens if it rains partway through the job?
Rosa times coats to stretches of dry weather and works around the forecast. If rain moves in, the schedule shifts instead of rushing a coat that won't cure right.
Do I need to do anything to prepare before you arrive?
Not usually — clearing anything breakable or in the way near the walls helps, but the washing, scraping and covering are part of the job.
My house has bare wood trim from an old paint job that wore through. Is that a problem?
That's normal, especially on older homes — bare wood gets primed before the topcoat so the new paint has something to hold onto.
